Professor Liam Kennedy (Director, UCD Clinton Institute for American Studies) is experienced in giving interviews on a wide variety of topics.
Prof Kennedy is an expert in fields of American Studies, including American culture, politics and foreign policy. He has particular interest in the relationship between US domestic and international affairs, including transatlantic relations, and in the role of media in framing understanding of the US. He is the author of books on American intellectuals and on urban culture in the US; he is currently writing books on images of America at war and on public diplomacy in the twenty-first century.
A native of Northern Ireland, he received his higher degrees from University of Nottingham and was a lecturer in American Studies at University of Birmingham before coming to UCD.

Dr John (Jack) Thompson is Lecturer at the Clinton Institute for American Studies, University CollegeDublin. An expert on American politics and foreign policy, he is the author of various articles and books.
Jack received his PhD from Cambridge University and his MA from the Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies (SAIS). He has worked in Washington, D.C., the United Kingdom, the
Netherlands and Belgium.
Jack has given interviews to newspapers, magazines and radio stations on various topics and can speak on the following:
