Professor Liam Kennedy is experienced in giving interviews on a wide variety of topics.
A native of Northern Ireland, he received his higher degrees from University of Nottingham and was a lecturer in American Studies at University of Birmingham before coming to UCD.
Prof Kennedy is an expert in fields of American Studies, including American culture, politics and foreign policy. He has particular interest in the relationship between US domestic and international affairs, including transatlantic relations, and in the role of media in framing understanding of the US. He is the author of books on American intellectuals and on urban culture in the US; he is currently writing books on images of America at war and on public diplomacy in the twenty-first century.
Dr Kaeten Mistry is an expert in US politics, history and foreign policy. He has taught and published articles on these themes, US-European relations, and spoken to audiences around Europe.
Dr Mistry has been educated in the UK, US and Italy. He has appeared on RTE and Newstalk radio.
