UCD Clinton Institute Fellowships

The Clinton Institute for American Studies invites scholars to apply for a Visiting Fellowship, resident in the Clinton Institute building at University College Dublin.

Fellows may be resident for any length of time from two weeks to six months. They will have an office, computer, printing facility, and library access. Fellows are expected to make a contribution to the Institute's programme of events during their stay. There is normally no stipend with this position, though Fellows who contribute to the Institute's postgraduate teaching programme will receive suitable fees. Fellows are usually postdoctoral senior researchers, though applications from non-academic researchers in a relevant field will be considered. Doctoral students are not eligible to apply.

Applications should consist of a letter describing the proposed duration and timing of stay, as well as a research proposal (max 1000 words), curriculum vitae and two letters of reference. The Fulbright Awards

The Fulbright Awards Programme offers several programmes that enable American scholars and professionals to undertake study, research or lecturing at a university in Ireland.

The candidates are selected on the basis of requests from Irish universities to host visiting scholars in specific academic disciplines and specializations. The Clinton Institute is keen to discuss support for suitable applicants.
